Pens

Horse and rider practicing reining maneuvers in an enclosed arena

Having access to multiple pen sizes and environments ensures horses have access to what they need, when they are ready, to enable continuous improvement and development.

  • This covered pen allows us to train horses in any weather and season. This pen also serves as a controlled environment to start horses in, giving them space to learn and develop and not be overwhelmed.

  • Our cutting pen is designed to help horses develop strong cow and cutting fundamentals, limiting distractions.

  • This arena is ideal for a variety of training activities, from perfecting reining maneuvers to taking cattle down the fence, to roping and everything in between.

OUTSIDE PASTURES

All horses benefit from time outside a pen. This enables them to experience life in a natural, open, uncontrolled environment. Depending on the goals for the horse, real-life pasture settings are available to help build a foundation for a horse.

Access to Cattle

For cow-disciplined horses, having access to fresh cattle is essential for developing strong cow fundamentals and expression, especially as the horse matures in the discipline. Our program caters to the needs of reined cowhorses, cutting horses and performance horses by having cattle as a cornerstone of our program.
