Meet CONNOR GROKETT
As a first-generation horseman, Connor Grokett grew up cowboying in the Kansas Flint Hills, driven by a deep hunger to develop into an exceptional horseman. Starting with any horse he could get his hands on, he learned to connect with all kinds of horses, building trust and confidence in the horses to get the job done. This hands-on experience was crucial in shaping his unique approach to horse training.
Connor has earned the prestigious title of World Champion Top Hand through the Working Ranch Cowboys Association. His appreciation for horses started with the essential partnership required to finish a job well in the real-world on a ranch. This practical experience has honed his skills and deepened his understanding of the vital bond between horse and rider.
HORSEMANSHIP CRAFTED OVER THE DECADES
With extensive experience managing and caring for cattle on horseback, Connor stands out for his remarkable ability to read cattle and set horses up for success in their roles as cowhorses. His expertise ensures that each horse is prepared to excel in their jobs, reflecting his commitment to their development and performance.
Married to Kalyn, they have two little girls, Sonora and Quaye. Together, they do everything together as a family, working hard and supporting each other every step of the way. They believe in leading by example, showing their daughters the importance of hard work, serving others, and treating people with kindness and respect. Connor’s humble approach to life and work reflects his deep commitment to these values, on the ranch, in their business and in their community.
